Stephanie Goetz, anchor at Fargo ABC and CBS affiliate KVLY, will leave the station Friday. The station reports Goetz will leave TV news to focus on motivational speaking & communications consulting.
“I owe an immense amount to Valley News Live,” Goetz said. “They’ve given me the opportunity to do what I love every day, touch people’s lives, get to know so many exceptional people in our community, make a huge impact here & call this great region my home.”
Goetz joined the station in 2011 as a reporter/anchor, and was moved to main anchor later that year. “There are only a handful of times in one’s career that you get the chance to work with someone like Stephanie,” said KVLY news director Ike Walker. “I have been fortunate to share the newsroom with her over the last several years and I have no doubt she will be successful in the next chapter of her career.”
