Emily Valla says she’s leaving KIFI-KIDK in Idaho Falls, Idaho for a job in Boise.
She said goodbye on this morning’s newscast. “It’s kind of bittersweet,” said Valla. “I’m a little emotional about it.”
Valla told TVSpy she’s going to work as a reporter for NBC affiliate KTVB.

“After two wonderful years of anchoring, reporting and weather forecasting, today is my last day with KIFI Local News 8 and KIDK Channel 3 Eyewitness News!” Valla wrote on her facebook page. “Thank you Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming for all you’ve done for me! I’m excited to be heading home to Boise to continue my news career.”
She started her career at KIFI-KIDK as a weekend weather forecaster and news reporter.
