Anchor Jennifer Loren will make her last appearance on the desk at Tulsa CBS affiliate KOTV tonight. Loren writes on Facebook that she’s decided to take a media job with the Cherokee Nation:
After almost nine years here I am leaving the anchor desk and taking off my investigative reporter hat to begin a new and exciting career! I am going to work for my tribe at Cherokee Nation Businesses, helping to expand their video/multimedia footprint.
While I will sincerely miss my friends, coworkers and loyal News on 6 viewers I couldn’t be more excited about the path I am embarking upon. Not only will I be doing work that I am truly passionate about… I will be at home to tuck my little ones into bed each night.

Loren’s replacement will be announced on air, and she hints it will not be a new face. “It’s someone you already know and trust and will be excited to see each night!”
