Weekday co-anchor Candace Thornberg has announced her imminent departure from Fargo, N.D., FOX affiliate KVRR. Thornerg is leaving the world of TV news to raise her first child, who is due later this month.
“Everything is very questionable, very up in the air now. I’m not entirely sure what the future holds,” Thornberg told the Fargo InForum, adding that she’d miss the job.
Thornberg has been at KVRR for a decade, starting out as a production assistant before transitioning to anchoring the weekend broadcasts. She’s been the weekday evening co-anchor for the past two years.

Thornberg’s final broadcast is Friday night at 9:00 p.m. KVRR news director Lezlie Johnson has not yet found her replacement.
