Jodi Applegate has been extricated early from her contract with Cablevision’s News 12 Long Island, and she’s expected to soon land at WPIX/Ch. 11.
Cablevision officials alerted News 12 staffers of Applegate’s departure late last week, calling her “credible, classy, sassy and a whole lot more.”

She’ll exit the cable channel Oct. 1, according to the internal announcement obtained by the Daily News.
She’ll be replaced at News 12 by Lauren Sivan starting Oct. 5. More…
