Mackenzie Bart has been named America’s Next Weatherman on the TBS Show produced by Funny or Die.
“I went up against some very tough competitors who all have bright futures,” she wrote on her Facebook page. “I know it wasn’t really highlighted on the show, but I’ve had a passion for weather since I was a little girl. I wanted to be the voice of safety from the moment I saw the devastation from the Joplin, Missouri tornado. I’m going to graduate from The Ohio State University with a degree in Atmospheric Sciences after interning at The Weather Channel. I hope to continue work with Habitat for Humanity, STEM, and OSU Meteorology Club to rebuild homes from storm devastation. I hope to take these experiences to be the best I can be. Thank you again! Love you all.”
She won the talent competition in the 2014 Miss America with her puppet Roxy.
