Morning traffic reporter Leyla Gulen no longer works at San Francisco ABC-owned station KGO.
San Francisco Bay Area media blogger Rich Lieberman reports Gulen was not happy that she “would not be a foundation in KGO-TV’s up coming new morning program,” so she quit. A KGO spokesperson would only confirm Gulen no longer worked at the station.
A quick check of TVEyes shows Gulen was absent on-air after last Tuesday. On Thursday, she tweeted out, “Beginning a new chapter in my life-don’t b strangers” with a link to a new Twitter handle and Facebook page.
