Alyana Gomez has joined Hartford NBC owned station WVIT as weekend morning anchor and weekday reporter.
She told her fans on facebook, “I feel so blessed to have been offered this exciting opportunity and can’t wait to start my next chapter, not only as an anchor again, but also as a MOTHER.” She added her son was due in July.
Gomez comes from WJAX-WFOX in Jacksonville, Fla. She’s also worked as a reporter in Salisbury, Maryland.
