Alberto Mier y Terán has been named executive vice president of Univision Television Group. In his new role, Mier y Terán will continue to serve as general manager of KMEX and KFTR in Los Angeles.
In a statement, Univision Television Group president Kevin Cuddihy said Mier y Terán has “done a tremendous job as the general manager of KMEX.”
“He has proved to be a great leader of his team as well as consistently delivering his plans. Since his arrival at UTG four years ago, he has played an integral role in the success of the entire organization,” Cuddihy said.

Mier y Terán has worked at Univision for more than 10 years.
