Albany Reporter Jenn Seelig Leaving WTEN This Week

By Kevin Eck

WTEN reporter Jennifer Seelig has announced that she’s leaving the Albany, N.Y. ABC affiliate this week.

“Personal News: this Wednesday will be my last day on air at WTEN,” Seelig announced on social media. “Crazy to think I’ve been reporting in the Capital Region for 2 years. So thankful I was able to call Albany my home away from home. A few more AM live hits before I sign off here.”

Before joining WTEN in September 2020, Seelig worked at WUTR in Utica as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor.

Evening anchor Trishna Begam replied to Seelig on Facebook, calling her “a ray of sunshine in the newsroom.”

“I am so glad our paths crossed. Wishing you the best of luck in your new chapter,” Begam said. “I have no doubt you’ll do great! We will miss you!”
