Nearly a dozen newsroom employees at WXIN-WTTV, the Fox and CBS affiliates in Indianapolis, received notice that they’re losing their jobs just two weeks before Christmas.

According the the IndyStar, it’s part of a cost cutting move after Nexstar purchased the stations as part of the Tribune acquisition earlier this year.

The paper is reporting that the exact number of people who have been laid off is unknown right now. Photographers, graphics employees and at least one on-air reporter, Samantha Myers, was let go.
