After Leaving KMSP, Robinson Eyes Lt. Governor Spot

Fox 9 television anchor Robyne Robinson, who had already announced she was leaving television news to focus on her jewelry business, now may have her sights set on a different career course: Minnesota lieutenant governor.

Robinson said Monday that she has been asked to be DFL gubernatorial candidate Matt Entenza’s running mate and is considering the offer.

“I think that there are certain times when you’re called to public service and you have to weigh the offer with gravitas. So that’s what I’m doing. I am weighing it incredibly heavily,” Robinson said. More…
