After two years as KTTV news director, Kingsley Smith is stepping down from the Los Angeles Fox O&O.

“After 20 years with Fox Television Stations, Kingsley Smith has resigned from employment with the company and will be pursuing other opportunities,” KTTV vice president and general manager Kevin Hale said in a statement.

Smith joined KTTV in 2011. He has also worked as news director for Fox-owned WTXF in Philadelphia and KTVI in St. Louis, which was a Fox O&O at the time he was there. Earlier in his career, he spent 15 years at KDFW in Dallas, where he worked his way up from producer to executive producer to assistant news director.
