Disney/ABC and its local affiliate in Houston, KTRK, have announced a $1 million dollar cash commitment to the Red Cross and Hurricane Harvey victims.
“Our hearts go out to everyone in the devastating path of this historic storm,” said Robert A. Iger, chairman and chief executive officer, The Walt Disney Company. “It’s hard to fully appreciate the impact, in part because it isn’t over yet.
The network, all of its local affiliates, radio stations and social platforms will also host a Day Of Giving this Thursday, August 31.

All platforms will host a call to action and encourage donations to the American Red Cross.
