Wednesday we shared with you NBC News correspondent Ronan Farrow‘s essay in the Hollywood Reporter, in which he called out some in the media for going soft on his father, Woody Allen, over accusations of sexual abuse in the family.
Today, at the Cannes Film Festival, Allen responded. Sort of.
Vanity Fair senior Hollywood writer Julie Miller asked Allen about his son’s essay.
“I never read anything about me, these interviews I do, anything. I said everything I had to say about that whole issue in The New York Times. I have moved so far past it. I never think about it. I work. I said I was never going to comment on it again. I said everything I have to say about it.”
