Woodruff Reports From Syria & Jordan

By Brian

ABC News anchor Bob Woodruff is starting to directly cover the Iraq war again — from the vantage point of neighboring countries.

“Woodruff recently traveled to Syria and Jordan to cover what the UN is calling the largest refugee crisis in the world — the more than 4 million Iraqis who have been displaced by violence in the country — 2 million internally and more than 2 million in neighboring countries,” ABC says. His reports will air beginning tomorrow.

In his first report from Syria, Woodruff interviews an interpreter who helped save his life when their military vehicle was hit by an IED. The interpreter is now a refugee.

This is Woodruff’s second overseas trip. He was in Cuba in April
