By Chris Ariens

WolfLogoCNN International will begin simulcasting the 1pmET CNN/U.S. hour anchored by Wolf Blitzer. Airing at 6pm in London, 7pm in Paris and Berlin, “Wolf” will begin European primetime.

“Wolf is passionate about stories of global importance and relevance, so we think it’s a good fit for CNNI,” writes CNNI chief Tony Maddox in a note to staff, obtained by TVNewser, and first reported by CNNCommentary.

Other upcoming changes include Robyn Curnow taking over anchor duties of the 10amET and 12:30pmET International Desk. Curnow recently relocated from Johannesburg to Atlanta. And starting Sunday, Oct. 19 at 6pmET, Michael Holmes and Amara Walker begin anchoring a new morning show, “CNN Today” for the Asia-Pacific audience. The show will originate from CNN HQ in Atlanta. “CNN Today will set the agenda for the day’s most important news, business and sport stories,” Maddox writes.
