With New Fox News Show, Tucker Carlson Gives Up Day-to-Day at Daily Caller

When Tucker Carlson took on hosting Fox’s new 7 p.m. ET show earlier this month, he had to give up day-to-day management of The Daily Caller, the politics site he co-founded 7 years ago.

On MediaBuzz Sunday, Carlson told Howie Kurtz it was a hard decision to make. “It was really hard. Not because I’m a great manager, I’m a terrible manager. But I loved it and I loved the guys,” Carlson said, adding, “I’m still the Christmas party guy.”

Carlson will keep his ownership stake in the site which he co-founded in January 2010.
