With CNN’s Atlanta Studio Turning Over to HLN, What Happens to CNN Center Tours?

Jeff Zucker Named New Chief Executive At CNNAs what’s left of CNN’s weekday programming moves from Atlanta to New York City next month, some TVNewser readers are wondering what that means for the CNN Center tours that have been offered for decades.

A CNN spokesperson tells TVNewser the tours will continue, with people still having the chance to peak in on in-progress shows. As CNN vacates Studio 7 in Atlanta the studio will soon be used for HLN programs. CNN will continue to use the Atlanta studio for weekend programs. Also, CNN International, CNN en Español, and Sanjay Gupta, MD all originate in Atlanta.

And for those down in Atlanta looking for a summer activity, the tours happen seven days a week from 9am-5pmET. They last about an hour, with new ones starting every 10 minutes. For an adult, the cost is $15 dollars.
