A dinner party at Savannah Guthrie’s home over the weekend turned bloody for Willie Geist.
Geist split open his finger while trying to open a bottle of Bourbon.

“They come in, he is holding his hand, a big towel,” Guthrie sai this morning on “Today.” “Blood… it’s a gusher, and they say, ‘girls we’re going to urgent care.'” Geist and his family were visiting Guthrie, her husband Mike Feldman and their new baby. Willie ended up getting seven stitches. “It’s a long story…there were some problems with the wax,” Geist said.
