Willie Geist on His Stint Filling-in for Kathie Lee: ‘Mostly I’m Just Hungover’

MSNBC “Way Too Early” host and “Morning Joe” co-host Willie Geist filled in for Kathie Lee Gifford on the “Today” show fourth hour this week. “This week we’ve had champagne, margaritas and a wine tasting on the show, so mostly I’m just hungover,” Geist told PopEater in a Q&A. “Hoda is a great drinking buddy. I’m grateful that Kathie Lee lent me her bar stool for a week.”
