NBC’s revamped Sunday morning made its debut this morning, in the form of Sunday Today with Willie Geist.
“I’m usually where you are this time of the week, on the couch in my sweatpants with a cup of coffee,” Geist said as he introduced the reformatted–and bright yellow-themed–show. “But from now on, I’ll be here, in my church clothes, spending the morning with you.”
Segments included a behind-the-scenes visit with one of the stars of Broadway’s smash hit Hamilton, a look at artificial intelligence, and a weekly highs-and-lows segment.

We’ll soon know what the numbers look like, but already Sunday Today succeeded in terms of social media, debuting as the No.1 trending topic on Twitter.
