Williams on SNL: “This Is Something I Wanted To Try”

The NYPost‘s Michael Starr chats up Brian Williams about his day job and his Saturday Night job. The NBC anchor moderates tonight’s Democratic debate in Philadelphia. Tomorrow, he begins rehearsals for his SNL hosting gig this weekend. “This was really one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever made,” Williams tells Starr. “I think people understand this is my night off. This is not my day job.”

Tim Russert to Join Williams in Questioning the Candidates

Debate Will Stream On MSNBC.com And Also Re-Broadcast On Telemundo

NEW YORK – Oct. 29, 2007 – “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams will moderate a debate among the Democratic presidential candidates tomorrow, 9-11 p.m. ET, live on MSNBC from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa. Tim Russert, moderator of “Meet the Press” and NBC News Washington Bureau Chief, will join Williams in questioning the candidates. This is one of six DNC-sanctioned debates this fall; it is the second debate moderated by Williams.

The debate will also stream live on MSNBC.com and re-broadcast on Telemundo in Spanish.
