On MSNBC’s Morning Joe Wednesday, a review of the latest national and battleground polling painted a bleak picture for Donald Trump. But co-host Joe Scarborough said Trump may be calculating what he can do with his hard-core base of support after Nov. 8.
“Roger Ailes, since 1996, even before all these stories came out over the past six months, was never accepted by polite society in New York City. People always besmirched his character … Donald Trump doesn’t need to be accepted by polite society to make hundreds of millions of dollars on Trump TV.”
“This of how depressing that is for Republicans who don’t want Hillary Clinton to become president,” said Willie Geist. “They have a candidate that’s thinking of his TV network, and not becoming president.”
