Will Carr is jumping from Fox News to ABC News as a Los Angeles-based correspondent.
Carr had been with Fox News since 2013 as national correspondent.
“One of his strengths is going beyond the headlines and giving a voice to people in the midst of life-changing events,” said ABC News president James Goldston announcing the hire.

Carr, a University of Georgia alum, got his start in news as an intern at ABC Atlanta affiliate WSB. He moved on to WRCB in Chattanooga, then KOAT in Albuquerque before joining FNC.
