With just weeks to go until Jimmy Fallon takes over as the host of NBC’s “Late Night,” rival CBS host David Letterman thinks Brian Williamsmay never appear on his show again.
“They’ll make you go on Jimmy. You’ll never come back here. This is your last appearance,” Letterman said to Williams this week on “The Late Show.” “Do they mind you coming to see me?”
“Oh, they loathe it,” Williams joked. “But I honor my friendships. Jimmy’s just upstairs from me, I see him all the time. I would like to call myself a regular on his show, and dare I say on yours.” Watch:
