This morning CBS News’ “The Early Show” ran a segment on a Twitter meme spurred on by journalism professor Jeff Jarvis. The meme involves users using the hashtag #fuckyouwashington on the messaging service.
Obviously the F-word is not exactly broadcast-friendly, especially during the morning hours, when kids might be getting ready for school while their parents watch TV. While the word was bleeped and blurred in most cases, on at least two instances we saw, some additional blurring may have been necessary:
