White Powder Scare at ABC News

By Chris Ariens

A suspicious pile of white powder discovered on a desk at ABC News in New York turned out to be instant soup left on the desk by an overnight employee.

The NYPD responded to ABC’s upper west side headquarters this morning with the all-clear given soon thereafter.

“We take these things seriously, so we respond with an abundance of caution,” ABC News spokesperson Jeffrey Schneider tells TVNewser.
