Adweek’s 4th annual Women’s Issue is out this week. In addition to featuring several women leaders in media and marketing, we visited Gayle King‘s office at CBS News for our Spaces column. One of the images that didn’t make the cut for the magazine was the one you see here, showing former CBS This Morning ep Chris Licht along with King and Oprah Winfrey.
“It was the first time that she was on the show,” King said. “That was a fun day.” Licht left CTM earlier this month when he was named showrunner for CBS’s Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “He left us in such good hands and really sort of set the standard for the show,” King said.
Oprah also turned up for Licht’s surprise going away party which King threw at a rooftop bar on Manhattan’s West Side last week.
