Westin Says: Congratulations Diane

By Brian

“Congratulations to Diane and her team for a breathtaking set of interviews and reports on a wide range of important topics. All of us have watched spellbound as she traveled first to Damascus to interview President Assad, then back to the United States, then back to Tehran to interview President Admadinejad,” David Westin wrote in a memo to ABC Newsers titled “Diane’s Travels” this morning.

“And all of this came after Diane’s historic reporting from North Korea and then her powerful hour on poverty in Camden, New Jersey,” he added. “Any news organization would be proud to have had any one of these reports in a given year. To have all four in the course of a few months — each taking us places we’ve never been and opening our eyes to parts of the world that matter to all of us — is truly remarkable.”
