Weeks After Leaving CBS, Don Teague Lands at KRIV in Houston

Two weeks ago, we told you that Don Teague was no longer with CBS News. Today, the former correspondent announced his next step — he will join KRIV, the Fox owned-and-operated local station in Houston, as an anchor.

Teague, who has been based in Texas for the last nine years for both CBS News and NBC News, will helm the station’s 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. broadcasts beginning August 15. He cited the demands of working for a national platform as part of the reason for making the switch back to local television.
