In a very rare win, “Good Morning America Saturday” was the #1 network news program last Saturday in both Total Viewers (3.36 million) and A25-54 viewers (1.19 million). Perennial #1 “Saturday Today” aired with lower national coverage of 93%. (Standard is 95%). The last time GMA came in #1 was Sept. 25, 2010.
“Today” wins the May Sweep with a commanding 900K+ lead over #2 “GMA.” But it was the ABC program’s largest-ever Total Viewer sweep audience since debuting in its current format in Sept. 2004.
