Week-Of-Pope’s Death Ratings: FNC +3%, MSNBC +33%, CNN +38% (& CNBC Down)

“The pope’s death led to a 15% jump in cable-news ratings for the week-long period ending April 7,” USA Today concludes. “Not all channels gained. Though Fox News continued to lead all networks with an average 929,000 viewers throughout the day, it gained only 3% compared with March’s totals. CNN spiked 38% to 709,000, while MSNBC jumped 33% to 321,000. CNBC lost viewers, while CNN Headline News was flat.”
