VP Title Keeps Haddad At MSNBC

Question: Wasn’t Tammy Haddad the de facto leader of MSNBC’s “political and election coverage” before her Thursday promotion to Vice President in Washington? After all, she’s had the title of “MSNBC primetime political director” since at least January (according to a quick search of press releases).

So what’s the significance of the vice president designation? Well, it certainly cements her role at the cable news network. As TVNewser first reported, Haddad has been talking to ABC for months about “a variety of jobs at the network,” including the GMA EP position.
