Marc Victor has been promoted to senior producer of the third hour of Today, Jim Bell announced today. The press release says “Victor will oversee all aspects of the number-one morning show’s third hour, as well as Today’s booking department.”
The position was created last year when Amy Rosenblum came aboard. She is now the senior producer of the 8am hour.
Victor joined the staff of Today ten months ago, focusing on the third hour. Before then, “Victor held various posts within NBC/UNI, executive producing ‘Blow Out’ on Bravo, and co-executive producing” ‘Home Delivery.’ He came to NBC from ‘Maury,’ where he was co-executive producer.
