“ABC is close to a deal with Bob Woodruff and Elizabeth Vargas to co-anchor ABC World News Tonight, according to network sources,” this week’s Broadcasting & Cable says. “Details of the contracts, which had yet to be signed at press time, were unclear. An ABC News spokesman declined comment.”
