At the end of Fox News Watch, Geraldo Rivera and Shep Smith shared their thoughts about covering the mass shootings at Va. Tech. Here’s what Shep said:
| “Well it’s very difficult. It’s difficult logistically, it’s difficult to be able to get around in such a tightly secure area, especially on the heels of something like this, and the most difficult aspect of any of this is emotional. I mean, you’re meeting young men and women who have just experienced a day worse than anything we can ever even imagine, watching their friends and classmates be shot down and left dead in a pool of blood. It’s tough to sleep sometimes. And it’s hard to deal with what they are going through.” |
