The “Today” show has announced the performers for the 17th annual Summer Concert Series, which will again be sponsored by Toyota this year. Festivities kick off on May 18 with a performance by Usher.
The concert series will take place on Fridays throughout the season. Justin Bieber and Chris Brown, who performed to huge crowds in recent years, will be back this summer. Other musical acts scheduled to perform include Maroon 5, Pitbull, Flo Rida, Kenny Chesney and Jason Mraz.
“Today” is also teaming up with Pandora to spotlight the artists featured in this year’s concert series. The Internet radio site will create three stations — NBC Today Rock, NBC Today Country and NBC Today Pop — featuring the music of the “Today” performers.
