Bill O’Reilly talked about that confrontation he had with an Obama staffer at a rally Saturday morning. First, a recap:
O’Reilly says “Hey, don’t block the shot.” Tall guy blocks shot. O’Reilly shoves him. Tall guy blocks shot again. O’Reilly shoves him again. Tall guy grins like the Cheshire cat. O’Reilly calls tall guy a son of a bitch. Secret Service guy walks in to keep the peace. First amendment wins, thankfully second amendment doesn’t.
In watching the tape, which O’Reilly said twice was “unedited,” it’s pretty clear 6’8″ Obama staffer Marvin Nicholson was intentionally trying to block the camera as Obama walked down the rope line.
In discussing the incident with guests Margaret Hoover and Kirsten Powers, O’Reilly said Nicholson, “saw us and he wanted to get some cred, some far left cred by doing that.” Powers agreed that Nicholson was blocking the shot but said to O’Reilly, “I probably would like it better if you didn’t shove people.”
It’s probably just a matter of time before the O’Reilly angle of the confrontation is on YouTube. Until then, here’s another angle…
