New American Morning anchor Miles O’Brien talks to Stephen Battaglio about the morning news landscape:

“What has happened with the other morning shows is they’ve all gone toward the light side, in some cases promoting entertainment programs. My own personal experience is that when I turn them on in the morning, I feel like I’m not getting what I need to know to get going for the day. I think there is an unserved audience that’s interested in setting the agenda for the day. Here’s what happened overnight.
