Two Former CNN Anchors Become Retirement Living TV Hosts

First on TVNewser: Retirement Living TV — dedicated, as it sounds, to people aged 55 and over — already has deep TV news ties, with former NBC Newsers John Palmer and Lea Thompson, among others, on the payroll.

Now the network is hiring two more TV news anchors for a new program called Daily Cafe.

Mary Alice Williams, a CNN original who most recently worked for CBS, and Felicia Taylor, a former business news anchor and correspondent for CNN, are hosting the two-hour afternoon show beginning next week.

Then net calls it “RLTV’s Today Show, but designed for boomer and senior audiences.” It will include “authoritative news updates from NBC News, delivered by veteran correspondents, such as Rehema Ellis, and a variety of NBC correspondents.”
