On Saturday, Chris wrote about the media’s increased use of Twitter. Today, that sentiment was reinforced when I spoke with Rick Klein, Tammy Haddad, and the rest of the panel who are set to speak on at TVNewser Summit next Tuesday.
The main topic of conversation? Twitter.
Rick said that he is fascinated by the Twitter explosion among TV and political types, and that it has really hit a turning point over the past two weeks. You can bet that everyone at the Summit will be Twittering live, from the audience and the stage. But, more interesting will be the conversation around it – how to take advantage of the social media phenomenon that has become so influential, celebrities are now using it to get around paparazzi. The panel will take on more than Twitter, of course – they’ll also discuss mobile video, live streaming, and announce some cool new tools that will enhance – heck, maybe even improve – the way news is reported.
