TVNewsers Back on the Late Night Couch

By SteveK

Late night TV was full of TV news personalities again last night. That’s been a trend for shows whose writers are still on strike (as opposed to David Letterman‘s and Craig Ferguson‘s). On The Tonight Show, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews sat down with Jay Leno last night, and on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, CNN anchor Lou Dobbs was a guest.

Matthews discussed his comments about Sen. Hillary Clinton that got a lot of attention recently. “Hillary, let’s face it the toughest crisis of her life was Bill (Clinton)! Let’s be blunt,” he said.

Dobbs explained how much he enjoys when the media gets it wrong. “Because the media is so often wrong and to see it clearly demonstrated with great specificity as it was in the instance of the polls in all of the analysis — that gives me joy,” said Dobbs.
