If you were wondering why three evening news anchors were not hosting their shows last night, it’s because they were at the White House at a glitzy star-studded State Dinner. Lester Holt, David Muir and Bret Baier were among the guests for a Nordic State Dinner honoring the President of Finland, the Prime Minister of Norway, and other Nordic leaders. All were welcomed by President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
ABC’s Deborah Roberts and husband NBC’s Al Roker, CNN correspondents Athena Jones and Sunlen Serfaty, Brian Williams’ daughter, actress Allison Williams and husband Ricky Van Veen, also David Letterman, Aziz Ansari and Will Ferrell were among the invited guests.
