Tucker Carlson to Get Fox News 7 P.M. Show

Tucker Carlson, who currently co-hosts Fox & Friends Weekend, has been tapped to take over the 7 p.m. ET timeslot, according to the Los Angeles Times.

TVNewser hears Brit Hume, who took over the timeslot following the abrupt departure of Greta Van Susteren last month, will host the show through election day and Carlson will take over the following Monday.

No word on who will take over for Carlson on Fox & Friends.

Carlson spent 5 years at CNN in the early 2000s before joining MSNBC in 2005. He jumped to Fox News in 2009.
