Tucker Carlson: Michael Vick ‘should have been executed’ for Dog Fighting

By Molly Stark Dean

Fox News Channel contributor Tucker Carlson is done talking about Michael Vick — for now. TVNewser reached out to Carlson’s site “The Daily Caller” to see if he cared to comment more about his statement last night on “Hannity” in which he said the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, “should have been executed,” for taking part in dog fighting. Carlson, who was filling in for Sean Hannity, was critical of Pres. Obama’s support of Vick.

“The idea that the president of the United States would be getting behind someone who murdered dogs? Kind of beyond the pale,” said Carlson.

“The Daily Caller” responded with the following,”Mr. Carlson does not have a statement at this time regarding last night’s remarks on Fox News about Michael Vick.”

‘Round about the time Carlson was delivering his death sentence, Vick suffered a contusion on the first play of last night’s postponed Eagles-Vikings game, which the Eagles lost.
