Tucker Carlson went on Fox & Friends this morning to explain that all the attention his segment on Sweden got this weekend, misses the point.
“50 years of immigration policy is coming to flower in Eurpoe,” Carlson explained about the Friday segment, which was cited by Pres. Trump on Saturday, and has been torn apart by much of the media in both the U.S. and Sweden since.
The Fox & Friends crew also turned the criticism of Trump’s remarks back on the media, saying “mainstream media went crazy about it,” before playing clips from this morning’s Good Morning America, Today show and CNN.
“Look, the president ought to be precise in what he says, there should be no confusion about what he means,” said Carlson, adding, “that analysis, however, is so stupid it’s hard to believe that it made it on television.”
