Donald Trump Says He May Skip Fox News Debate

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump said Monday he might skip Thursday’s GOP debate on Fox News Channel because of his concerns about Fox News host and debate moderator Megyn Kelly.

“If I think I’m going to be treated unfairly, I’ll do something else,” Trump told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. This follows Trump’s suggestion that Kelly should not be allowed to serve as a moderator.

“Sooner or later Donald Trump, even if he’s president, is going to have to learn that he doesn’t get to pick the journalists—-we’re very surprised he’s willing to show that much fear about being questioned by Megyn Kelly,” said a Fox News spokesperson tonight.

Trump, who famously clashed with Kelly in the first Republican debate back in August, conceded he’d “probably” be at the debate Thursday, as he has in each of the GOP debates this cycle, despite a number of empty threats.

In October, Trump threatened to boycott a CNBC debate, and in December threatened to back out of a CNN debate if he wasn’t paid $5 million, which he promised to donate to charity.
