Trump Continues Campaign Against Fox News

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump made appearances Thursday morning on CNN and MSNBC–and in both interviews accused Fox News of being “unfair.”

Talking to CNN’s Alisyn Camerota, Trump discussed a segment from Wednesday night’s The Kelly File with National Review editor Rich Lowry. “They have pundits on the show. One of them made a total fool of himself last night. He totally lost it. I watched it–it looked like he was having a nervous breakdown on television.”

In the segment, Lowry suggested Carly Fiorina had castrated Trump with her performance in the most recent GOP debate. “I was shocked. But he lost it. It was wonderful watching this guy lose it because, you know, he’s a bad guy.”

Trump, who immediately attacked Lowry’s comments via Twitter, told MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough social media has allowed candidates to call out what they consider to be unfair portrayals in the media. “So when a dope like a Rich Lowry goes on or people like a Megyn Kelly says things that are wrong, I’m able to tweet.”

Trump also ripped CNN over a report by Randi Kaye from South Carolina that showed empty seats for a Trump speech at a group of African-American business people:

I made a speech to the African-American Chamber of Commerce in South Carolina. Wonderful people. And the room was full. Every seat was full…The CNN reporter, absolutely horrible reporter, she starts off saying, oh, look, the room is half empty. The room wasn’t half empty, everybody was standing right next to me in the front of the room. I want to tell you, you can tell Jeff Zucker, I think it was terrible, disgusting reporting.”

The Washington Post, however, fact-checks Trump and says Kaye got it right: the room was half empty.
