Tomi Lahren Suing Glenn Beck for Wrongful Termination

Tomi Lahren, a rising star in the conservative galaxy, is suing Glenn Beck for wrongful termination.

The Dallas News reports Lahren filed suit against Beck and The Blaze claiming she was subjected to “a public smear campaign” meant to “inflate Beck’s profile, from what has become a mediocre following.”

The Blaze has not yet responded to the suit.

Lahren was suspended from her talk show last month after saying on The View that she was pro-choice. “I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies,” Lahren said on the program.

“I would disagree that you’re a hypocrite if you want limited government and yet you want the government to protect life of the unborn,” Beck said on his radio program in response. “It takes intellectual honesty, and it takes a willingness to actually think these things through and to do more than just read Twitter or Facebook to get your news and your political opinions,” said Beck, who has his own experience losing a TV talk show when Fox News canceled his in 2011.

The suit also says that The Blaze won’t allow Lahren access to her Facebook page, and she says they ordered her to “go dark” and stay silent on social media. Her 2-year contract was to expire Sept. 30.
